American Heritage Campground is a park, not a parking lot. The American Heritage Campground is said by many to be "one of the nicest parks they've seen". Camp in a 25 acres forest of Douglas firs. Campsites are spacious and secluded. Some are in an open grassy area. Hookups include electric, water, & sewer. Tents can have a site with or without hookups. All campsites have a picnic table and campfire area. There is one cozy camping cabin. American Heritage Campground is fortunate to have customers who have been camping here for generations. The Heck family is honored to have guests who keep returning year after year. Parents who camped here as children are now bringing their kids to continue the camping tradition. Grandparents love to bring their grandkids camping here. It's a beautiful place for kids of all ages to enjoy, and if the kids are happy, everyone is happy!
