This extraordinary club is a metropolitan refuge, offering the ultimate in luxuries, from personalized spa treatments to the unique experiences in our Sublime Salon or Joe's Barber Shop. The luxury spa provides relaxation, rejuvenation; a personal journey through customized and exhilarating body massages and skin treatments. Appropriately named for a village and region nestled at the foot of the Alps in Northern Italy, Club Biella immediately evokes the feeling of an Italian Villa. As guests enter the main spa lobby they are welcomed by a casual lounge area, seemingly set in the outside of a classic European village. The design theme is a combination of an old-world feel with elegant architectural touches of Italy. Glass elements compliment Tacoma’s hometown connection to world-renowned glass artist, Dale Chihuly. Warm tones and chocolate brown are used throughout, combining with hints of brushed chrome and steel blue to retain a contemporary feel. Grand entry doors, custom made with knotty alder and custom cabinetry is featured throughout. The senses are immediately aroused with the sounds of water as you begin your experience through the entry lined with two gleaming water walls covered in chipped glass mosaics. An impressive ellipse-shaped balcony with iron belly picket rails frame a series of hand-forged, glass pendent lights and a stamped concrete lounge area. Streetlights, backlit “windows,” striped awnings, arches and an ornate iron gate complete the design, in keeping with the European village look.
