Nominated for: BEST Picnic Spot
The Foss Harbor Marina is a 408-slip facility that was formerly known as Totem Marina. In 2001, the harbor was take over by new ownership that completely replaced all open moorage docks. The upland is slowly taking shape as plans for new land facilities are fine-tuned. We have a new Shell/ValvTect fuel dock, a recently remodeled marina store, and 96 upland storage lockers. We welcome liveaboards to our marina.
The Foss Harbor Marina is rated a 5-star Envirostar as well as a certified Clean Marina. We have received past awards from the Citizens for A Healthy Bay as well as from the Mt. Tahoma Audobon Society. We have also been one of the finalist for the Governor's Award. In addition, we currently moor one of the largest Sea Scout fleets in the Nation. The Foss Harbor Marina enjoys holding & participating in several events throughout the year such as: Envirostar Tenant of the Month, Drive-In Boat movies, Halloween Costume Party, Christmas boat decorating contest, BBQ's, picnics, Clean Green Boating Fair, food drives, sponsor a family, Toys for Tots and much more.
We are constantly striving to improve our marina and the environment around us. We are members of the Tacoma Regional Convention & Visitor's Bureau, the Tacoma Waterfront Association, the Tacoma Downtown Merchant Group, the Pacific Coast Congress for Harbormasters, and the Northwest Marine Trade Association.
We offer our tenants special fuel pricing and also adopt fuel customers as honorary Foss Harbor Marina Tenants so that they may receive discounts as well

You can watch all the things going on in the harbor at Tacoma and watch some of the small boats go out each day and some of the large container ships go out and it is absolutely beautiful
