Hidden Valley Camp is a private, independent camp accredited by the American Camp Association. HVC was founded in 1947 and has been owned and operated by the McKinlay family since 1973. Hidden Valley is a summer, co-ed, resident youth camp for children ages 7 to15. There is a Camper Leader program for those finished with 10th and 11th grades. Camp accomodates 117 campers and 10 Camper Leaders each session. Living group size is 7 campers to 1 counselor.
HVC provides a rustic camp experience in a marvelous natural setting with small group emphasis. Campers plan and participate in activities with staff in a caring and easy going atmosphere. The supportive environment makes it easy for each camper to feel comfortable, make friends and be an integral part of the camp community.
Physical and social skills, fun, independence, self-esteem, working and playing cooperatively with others, confidence, responsibility, group living, conservation, challenges, decision making, interdependence, creativity, sharing, adventure, inquisitiveness, making things, new interests, wonder, exploring, participating, relationships, personal skills, friendliness, leading and following are all natural outcomes in the friendly surroundings of Hidden Valley Camp.

I both attended HVC as a camper for years and worked there as a counselor, it's the happiest place on earth!
