Welcome to Mazama, gateway to the North Cascades in the beautiful Methow Valley. Join us in the winter for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. In the summer the focus moves to the high country with alpine flowers, hikes in the North Cascades National Park and Pasayten Wilderness, climbing on world famous Liberty Bell Mountain and a drive to Harts Pass and Slate Peak, the highest road in the state of Washington. Or enjoy a lazy summer day along the Methow River where hiking, biking, birding and horse trails offer a quiet retreat. In August enjoy the sounds of classical music at the foot of the spectacular Goat Wall during the Methow Music Festival. Fall, with its vibrant colors and cooler temperatures, is a great time to get in a last hike or ride before snow once again blankets the mountains or just enjoy the beauty of the area.
