The stores keep changing, but Port Townsend is fun for shopping and has a lot of restaurants. The people are friendly. The largest park is on the water. I'd like to live there.

There is never a wrong time to visit, they have great festivals and events, the shopping is so much fun, the harbor and views are great, Fort Worden is a treasure, the Victorian charm is every where. Oh, and there a many choices of places to dine.

port Townsend is a fantastic weekend gt away. The small shops downtown have a variety of homeade crafts clothing and furniture. Would Definatley recommend staying at a bread and breakfast to enjoy the slow pace of this wonderful small town.
