    Vote: BEST Island

  • This fantastic island is accessible by ferry or bridge and just might be one of the longest islands in the whole US. It has many personalities that appeal to those who love boating, horse back riding, fantastic restaurants and delightful shopping, not to mention gorgeous gardens and scenery and beautiful sights to photograph.

  • I actually saw Bald Eagles lock talons and free fall in the mating dance. Keep out a watchful eye and you may see the same.

  • A wonderful and fulfilling daytrip (or overnighter) to drive from the north end and make many stops heading south to take the ferry back via Mukilteo. Don't miss Ebey Landing, Coupeville, and many hidden beaches and side roads. You'll come back for more.

  • You won't believe the number of Eagles that show up on the fresh mowed hay farms on Penn Cove Road, Coupeville. If someone sold tickets...you'd buy them!
